Delivered without radios, heaters, fan shrouds, or chokes the true intent of the L88 was all-out performance on the racetrack. Stock, as delivered L88s actually have been dyno-tested at 560hp. Only 20 of these were ever produced, with this one being the only known red on red, making it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever built.
This 1969 L88 Corvette Coupe was the lowest documented mileage 1969 Corvette known to exist, and being one of only 116 L88's built, it was the highest selling Corvette at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in January of 2006, with a record-setting price of
